have an old worcestor 25si and want to connect drayton digistat rf controller and remote but have no wiring diagram for boiler have manual and for it and timer but neither help. rf unit wants common 1, cool 2 and heat 3 connections and boiler has red white and blue with no indication as to which is what or why. i was informed it was plug and play, HAH what a joke

so any help would be appreciated

No such thing as plug "n" play IMHO

I can't remember what goes where on your boiler try phoning Worcester, they should help given this is not a "Gas Related" enquiry, they might ask for your Part "P" Electrical Registration details though

thanks chrisr, that was a good try with the diagram except i did not say it was a newer greenstar model as depicted by your diagram. also to answer transam, no there is no external roomstat just the digital timer attached to the front of the boiler. there is provision for roomstat but as stated earlier the wires are color coded red white blue but have no indication which is common, call for heat or cool.

on the boiler terminal strip (where the mains comes into the boiler) you will see a strip with LR.. LS .. NS.. N.. L this is where you connect the scr unit,

boiler......scr unit

N.............N

L.............L

LR...........3

LS...........1

I have no idea what the red ,white and blue wires are for but I would leave them alone

well thank you MR Picasso, you deserve a hot cuppa tea for that. Everything connected and working thanks a lot.

:D

I apologise if i have offended, but the way my response was worded was an assumption on the username. Picasso was a man! and as the usernames are not gender specific i concluded that you were a man. Hence MR, im not even sure there was a Mrs picasso...............
