Wiring dimmer - Load vs Live

Just bought a Varilight dimmer to replace a standard switch. Instructions state:

-- Live wire must be connected to "Live terminal"
-- Load wire must be connected to "Load terminal"

Makes sense but...

My existing switch has L1 ( incoming 2 reds) & "Common" (1 blue)

Just want to be 100% sure so can anyone confirm that on the Varilight dimmer I connect the 2 reds to the "Live" & single blue to "Load"

Obviously I have to connect earth too.

You just need to establish that the blue is indeed the switch wire.
