Wiring Downlights

Hi

I am replacing a single ceiling rose with 3 halogen downlights. The downlights have a transformer, with a single connection block consisting of a live and neutral that needs to be connected. How do I connect these to the existing ceiling rose?

Do I need to replace the ceiling rose with some sort of junction box??
