My Megaflo Heatrae Sadia only controls the hot water in my flat. The old timer a Grasslin QE 7+ has stopped working so decided to replace with a Drayton Lp711. The problem I am having is where to allocate the live and neutrals?? The LP711 has the following set up

N- neutral wire in
L - Live wire in

1 COM
2 OFF
3 ON
4 I believe this is spare?

After placing the Live (L) and Neutral (N) in I have two lives and two neutrals remaining and I'm not sure where they need to go, i.e 1/2/3?

I have also put a link connection between L and 1 as per the instructions.

many thanks

Supply Live to L
All three neutrals go to the N terminal.

Link from L to 1
2 is the live to the boost immersion (top)
3 is the live to the off peak immersion (bottom)
4 nothing

All CPCs (earths) connected together

I have just noticed that this timer only has a 3A fuse so is not suitable for immersion heaters.

You will need one with a 16A rating.

To confirm:

Your whole electrical supply changes to cheap rate at the specified times,
not just a separate supply coming on at these times.
