Hello,

We currently have a conventional boiler and hot water cylinder. These are controlled with a wired programmer that has 2 wires going into the back.

The wires lead from a honeywell junction box in the utility room. Picture attached.

Is it easy enough connection the hive heat link to this box? And if so where should it be. The box has 3 terminal areas. Mains, boiler and pump.

Thank you

Nathan

You have the joyous joys of the now-obsolete Honeywell Smartfit, so you need a complete system rewire including new zone valves before you can fit Hive (or any other new controller).

Worth noting that Hive is the least energy-saving of all the connected thermostats. It's about as smart as a cheese sandwich
