Hi all,

I've bought a couple of cheap led batten lights, took one out the box today and the wiring is as below, excuse the poor quality

Basically 2 thin wires, one blue one brown, given how thin the wires are I'm thinking about soldering some 1mm flex to them and leading this back to a plastic rose mounted next to the lights where I'll connect it into the light circuit.

Can anyone see any issues with the above?

Thanks
Chris

The wires that thin I'm not sure they'll be secure in any sort of connector, that's why I've ruled out crimping them aswell, once heat shrink has been applied the joint will be taped to the rear of the batten so shouldn't be subject to any movement once installed
