wits end with slow draining toilet in new (to me) house

Can't beat a good siphonic I love em we've got three none give any probs I bought em all from a reclaims yard.Bob

Thanks to everyone.
I replaced the standard flush mech with Thomas Dudley t88 and aspirator mechanism.
It took me 10 mins (as the all the screws were new and not rusted) and the toilet now flushes in an odd, yet effective manner.
