We’ve just had this installed. The pressure of hot and cold water ( not the boiling) is lower than previously and lower than from other taps in the house. Any idea why this might be happening?

What did your installer say?
Unless your dynamic mains pressure is really good then their flow can suffer with the small waterways they use inside, what is basically, a standard sized tap body.
