Wolf Garten Pruning Saw replacement… PC370MS Spare Blade

I have obtained a spare blade for the pruning saw PC370MS,but replacing isn’t as easy as I thought it might be.I have removed accessible screws but cannot split the handle to release blade.

Can someone help me solve this problem…I don’t want to force and possibly break the saw!

The parts are probably joined by a plastic peg/dowel arrangement, so you will need to lever the two halves off with a blade like a decorators knife or similar.

The grey underside of the handgrip seams to lock it from splitting apart!….i can prise it apart a mm or two near where the blade enters the grip.

Time for a new one maybe, the price difference wont be that great

Managed to dismantle…to find blade is riveted to multiuse shank!.Will need drilling out rivets..
