Wood door treatment (without changing appearance)

Our main front and back doors are solid wood the rest of the windows are PVCU.

I want to treat the door to protect it as it is 5 years old now and not had anything done to it.

I DO NOT WANT to change the colour or look of the door or make it shiny.

What product is best to just brush on to protect it without altering its appearance.

no idea the house was built in 2005 and we have only just moved in...

I'm no expert, but what I've done with my windows is pick up a tin of wood stain that is as close in colour to the current stain as possible. Before applying the stain I've lightly sanded the wood and then wiped down with white spirit before applying 3 coats of stain
