I am getting ready to install new floors in my main living area. I am putting hardwood, 3/4" thick throughout main area and want to install tile in the entries, around the hearth and in the kitchen.
How do I transition from 3/4" wood to 1/4" tile?

Any ideas?

Make-up a taper-section wooden transition strip in hardwood to match the floor. I've done these a number of times for customers - simple job for a joiner with a workshop.
