Hi guys

I have some wood paneling and MDF cupboards in the bathroom which were previously painted / varnished. I've roughly sanded the surface (not all the way back to the wood) to provide a key, and I was wondering if a water based satinwood would be suitable for a bathroom please?

Or do I need to protect it further with a non-yellowing varnish or similar?

The bathroom will get steamy and condensation will form, and the wood will get splashed, so I want to project it as best I can.

Cheers for your advice guys, most appreciated!
