Verge barge board which protects the edge of the roof, the slates will be more exposed to wind lift.
Depends whether someone is prepared to do it off a ladder. At two storeys up, you could rule out a fair few unenthusiastic tradespeople.
Needs scaffolding for a thorough job.
The decorative corbelling on the right hand side also needs looking at.
