Wooden electric drive gates

I have a 20' wide drive which slopes downwards from the gate. Am thinking of wooden gates opening remotely, is the drive sloping away from the gates a problem. Two 10' gates would do the job but is it possible to operate them singly to avoid the postie having to climb over !
Would welcome any advice as to type of gate etc.
