just had a light oak wooden floor laid in our hallway ,whats best to put on to seal it .wax or clear satin varnish will take a lot of traffic so want something durable..

Wax = soft wearing

Oil = Medium wear, easy to repair.

Varnish = Hard wear, harder to spot repair.
