I'm going to get a wooden garden office

I need all year round + need to keep warm at winter and still be able to work there

I've looked at many websites. They have options for floor and roof insulation. But no option for insulating the walls!

Out of chance, I had to see a nursery on Friday. They had a massive wooden office at the back - as far as I could tell, there was no was no insulation on the walls. They told me they were fin in winter (with a fan heater)

I contacted on website that sells - they told me that the wood on its own was fine!

What am I missing? I can't remember where, but I'm sure I saw somewhere that gave figures of where heat is lost and I'm sure I remember that I saw it said 60% of heat was lost through walls?

Any advice would be great

Thanks

@nickjb thanks for those links - good prices

>> It might be easier/cheaper just to pump heat in and put a jumper on.
that i could do - but would be really uncomfortable
i work from my garage. i had it partially insulated
roof done. stud wall created with insulation behind
i have a concrete floor, brick wall and single glazed window and door
i can work from there 9 months of the year
but then it gets freeeeezing! and i simply can't work there even with a heater

surely u *must* have insulation on walls?

let me know what u think

thanks
