I oiled mine last night (1st time as I only moved in 6 months ago).

I followed the instructions on the can, but when I came back after 15 mins to wipe ff the excess it had gone sticky. Very sticky.

I have left it overnight and the oil smell has now gone but it is still sticky. Very slightly less so than last night (15 hours or so ago) but still sticky.

What should I do?
