i have a worcester 240 combi bf. the only hot water we can get is with the central heating turned on. other than that the water barely gets warm. i have read the manual and believe it could be either the diverter valve, or the diverter valve micro switch. am i right with my theory and is there anyway of singling out the problem before buying the parts.

probably run the water and see if the pin rises to switch the microswitch
