I had a leak in hot water system i have repressurised system and have plenty of oil but the boiler locks out. tryed several times to re set but does not ignite??

What happens when you press the lockout lamp? Does the burner purge for a few seconds before trying to ignite?
Popular faults are - solenoid coil on the pump failed, photocell seeing light because its dislodged.
Are all of the oil valves open, including the one inside the boiler casing? (Heatslave models)?
John :)

burner does purge for a few seconds plenty of fuel getting through. Solenoid clicks and opens ok. Photocell in place cant hear it ignite. Any ideas? Worked fine before leak, switched off to repair leak and now keeps locking out?

A loss of pressure may well prevent the burner from operating at all, but it shouldn't cause it to go to lockout.....if you can see evidence of oil inside the combustion chamber then oil is getting there, so obviously there is no ignition spark or the oil pressure is dead low.
Ignition failure could be due to the photocell, electrodes , spark generator or control box. Pop the burner out and see how much grot there is around the nozzle?

As John says, pop the burner out after trying it, to see if there is evidence of oil spray. If not, then you need to check why. The solenoid may not be opening even though you hear a click. If there is oil, then disconnect the solenoid coil lead, and try starting it while looking for a spark. If no spark, check ignition transformer.
