Hi I've got a Worcester 240 boiler and have had no problems with it since moving in almost 3 years ago. As it's privately rented property, it has been serviced every year, this time about 5 months ago. I noticed tonight there was a damp patch appearing on the kitchen ceiling directly underneath the boiler. When I've looked at it there are drips forming on the underneath of the boiler. It has been snowy and below freezing here and although the heating is fine, i'm wondering if it's got something to do with the PRV outside? It's dark right now so I can't go outside to inspect.......could it be frozen? I'm no expert....work in careers guidance but remember the engineer talking me through it this summer!! I'd appreciate any advice.

My advice would be that you should call the landlord and let him sort it out as its his responsibility.

Stick to careers guidance, earn your money and pay the rent !

The landlord, if he is not too tight, will call a boiler engineer who will come and fix it and get paid by the landlord !
