Sometimes H/W only gets just warm. Coincides with fast flow from H/W tap (flow not being restricted by boiler). Otherwise works OK. Reducing the flow with the tap allows water to get hotter. Diverter valve replaced last year. Any ideas Chaps?

Turn hw on, feel leftmost fat pipe under boiler - CH flow. It'll be hot if the diverter is passing.
To check HW performance set tap to say 9l/min (one ornery bucket). Of course it's cooler if you spread the energy into more water.
