I'm hoping someone has some ideas about this. My friend's a plumber, but freely admits he's not too good on diagnosing combi problems !
Problem is:
- On HW demand the boiler goes into fail point H (burner lockout)
-Once the reset button is presed, it works fine and will fill the bath
- When the boiler is warm (eg after running a bath) the HW demand will work fine for some time after.
- This DOES NOT happen with CH demand , this works fine all the time
- Again, when CH is on, the HW demand is OK.
My friend suggested gas valve at first, but says this would effect both HW & CH ?
Any ideas anyone ?
