Hi, we have a worcester 24i boiler when we first moved in it wouldn't light first time it would take 3 or 4 attempts, we had someone in to look at it who said he lubricated or freed something up so it worked fine but may go again, and has worked fine for 7monts or so, but it has started again now, when you light it you can hear it clicking ( igniting, and you can see the spark ) and it lights with a small flame then goes out after a few seconds, any help would be very greatfull, and if i could fix it myself i am quite handy and am an electrician so i am kind of ok with diy stuff, but dont really want to mess with a boiler unknowingly, thanks alot for any help it will be greatfully appreciated.

Sounds like flame rectification or gas valve problem. You need a registered gas installer to look at it.
