WORCESTER 24I HEATING NOT COME ON UNLESS I RUN THE HOT WATER

HI I HAVE A WORCESTER 24I BOILER AND IT WILL ONLY KICK IN IF I RUN THE HOT WATER BUT I HAVE TO DO THIS A COUPLE OF TIMES TO MAKE THE BOILER LIGHT AND THEN I HAVE TO LET THE WATER RUN FOR A LONG TIME. IT WONT FIRE UP THE HEATING UNLESS I DO THIS.
PLEASE NOTE IM NOT GOING TO ATEMT TO FIX IT MY SELF I ONLY NEED ADVICE PLEASE.

sounds like your 3 way valve, the thing like a heart, isnt touching switches at change over, replace it and see.
