worcester 24i junior going on and off

Hi Guys hope you can help.

worcester 24i junior. call for heat or dhw. boiler fires, stays on for approx 2 mins then cuts out. stays off for approx 2 mins then fires up again. Flame sensor electrode maybe ?

Any advice would be appreciated. I am gas safe registered but new to the trade.

Bit long for flame sensing, first thing that comes to mind is fan/aps.

get yourself in the combustion chamber, nice and warm, and excellent advice from some top chaps, including stuff that is not for the general public for safety reasons.

that time scale sounds more like overheating to me.

have you done a thermal survey?

As Ben says, get into the CC where there is lots of friendly trade support!
