Hi, I found this site whilst looking for some info on my boiler and I would much appreciate some help

my central heating is working fine but my boiler keeps cutting out every time I turn the hot tap on, regardless if the central heating is on or not. The fault indication is a flash once every second. If the fault indicator/reset button is pressed the boiler will reset and only cut out again once the hot tap is turned on. It might be worth mentioning that this fault started as intermittent and now is happening constantly.

I was fortunate enough for the previous owners to leave the manual with the boiler, so I followed flow chart C.

There is about 4.9v going to the turbine and once the hot tap is turned on it does drop to about 2.1v. Now the next part is what confuses me. The flow chart then moves to asking if there is continuity in the Main Harness. I can only assume the main harness is the loom from the board to turbine, if this is the case then I can not understand why it would ask to check for continuity as I have already proved that, as there is voltage going to the in line connector. Am I wrong in the assumption of terminology of main harness? If im not then according to the chart I am going to have to replace the control board?

Also regarding the turbine, im assuming it is basically a flow switch and the fact the voltage drops at the in line connector, once a tap is turned on, shows the switch is activating and there is some change in resistance, which is what lets the boiler know to start heating the water? Is that correct or have I assumed wrong on that part?

If any one can help me out with this I would much appreciate it. Thank you in advance :D
