Hi, my Worcester combi boiler has been playing up the last few days and has now stopped working completely. I reset the red flashing light but that is making no difference. It will not fire up at all and having heard very bad things about the original installers ripping people off by saying there boilers are unfixable when a simple £150 job repaired the boiler they claimed was totally unfixable I'm in limbo. I've tried contacting some local boiler repair specialists but they are in no rush to get back to me. To save me getting ripped off could anyone offer any advice on this problem. Thanks in advance.

You say some engineers "are not in a hurry to get back to you".
I am not sure what that means, possibly you have left messages for them and have not been called back yet?
Why not tell us what town you are in and see if anyone on this forum is close enough to come and repair it for you?
