have pressure on guage of 3 and quarter bar ,water escaping from relief pipe on outside of house.tried draining from radiators to get pressure down, this worked but pressure just rose up again. help please on problem

could be the EV f***ed.

Could be filling link/loop not closed properly

Time to call an RGI

is it doing it when cold. if so filling loop is left open or if its the 24i with plate heat ex this could have gone(depends on which model 24i you got).if only doing when warm id go with the EV.

Which is well positioned on the back of the boiler. Good old WB designers

could say the same for old glowworms, vaillants and so on,makes me wander who thought having an EV at the back was a good idea  .thats why i like viessmann easy access. :)

The 24i dosen't have a plate h/ex. The only other reason could be the filling loop letting by as has been said.
Not being confused with the Junior is it?

the 24i is a junior. its the greenstar junior that has the plate heat ex as we dont know the exact model we can only asume it could have a plate heat ex or not.

The Worcester 24i is a boiler all on its own. The lower entry boiler before the Cdi. Nothing to do with the Junior.

yes it could be a rsf or whatever it is.as we dont know which one i based the assumption he COULD have a plate heat ex.

Just to help clarify or further the confusion...
In order of age, oldest first.
Worcester 24i
Worcester Junior 24i
Worcester Greenstar 24i Junior

Like others I suspect filling loop.
Find the filling loop, make sure its turned off disconnect filling loop, reduce pressure nand see what happens.

Doh!!!
No wonder life gets confusing!

Edit And wasnt there als a 24Si? or am I just making it up? I cant tell anymore!!!
