Hi! first post on here :D

When I have my Central heating on the hot water light goes to fast flash and I cant get any hot water :( In the manual it indicates that either the fan/fan cable is faulty or one of the circuit boards is at fault!

Are Worcester any good at good will warranty claims? The boiler was installed in July 2005 so bearly 1 year old :?

Any idea how much it will be to repair this fault??

I will be contacting Worcester on Monday but in the meantime any info is appreciated :D

Regards - Paul.

Worcesters, are generally very reliable boilers, especially the CDI range.

Yes if you have a rapid flash , this would indicate a possible fault with either the flue, and or , the PCB, although there is more than just the flue.

It could be a fault with the APS, or the tubes connected to the APS.

It could also be a fault with the inner casing.

Its doubt full its the PCB, but it could be, my advice would be, check out the warranty, and or get a good CORGI guy, who knows what he or she is doing to do a fault find.

Sorry i cant give you any more info.

Dave.

What is the system water pressure????

If its below 1.3 bar then increase to 1.8 bar and see what happens. Make sure the filling valve is closed!

Idle pressure is at 1.1 bar and this rises to 1.5 - 1.6 bar when the CH is on.
