can any body help.

i have just replaced 2 x radiators in my home and whilst the rads were off the wall the water pressure in the system dropped - leaking rad valves.

i have since replaced the rads with new ones, topped up the system, but i cannot get rid of the air in the pipes.

i have tried shutting off the gas supply and running the system, hoping to get rid of the air through the rads and the automatic air vent and the pump venting screw, but with no success

is there any other way of bleeding the system off the air

every time i try to run the hot water or the heating the air in the pipe work going through the heat exchanger and causes the boiler to cut out.

regards,

mississippi

Hope you haven't inadvertantly shut the dust cap on the aav, it should be left one turn open.
