I accidentally overfilled the loop on my 280recently, and now the system will not remain pressurized. I have read on here its probably down to dirt or a prv jammed slightly open.

Is there any way of re-setting the PRV or will it require replacement? I am not at the house at the mo, it looks as if the PRV has a knurled end that can be removed, what is underneat this and can the PRV be easily "re-seated" or "reset"?
The service manual mentions the PRV is a caleffi 3141 3 bar.

Thanks in advance.

you can't (re seat) a prv

you can remove it and clean it out

you can replace it

Sweet. For the price, might as well replace then. Another quick question for anyone in the know, how do you get products such as sentinel into the CH loop on a combi?
