We have had no hot water for three weeks, can someone help please.

It began with a very loud noise from the boiler itself and the header tank, when we ran the hot water fast. When we ran the hot water slow the noise disapeared. After leaving it like this for too long we eventually got no hot water at all. We sought help from an experienced plumber who thought it had something to do with the secondary heat exchanger, which he replaced.

After this we were getting some hot water on and off and the noise from the boiler and header tank had stopped. The plumber then said that it was a problem with the diverter valve not working, which he then replaced.

Now we are getting hot water but the noise is back worse than it was before.

Can anyone help?
