Hi, im new this is my first post.

A customer of mine has a 28 CDI. Its a right heap. The water/water heat exchanger is leaking (new O rings needed), the fan is on its way out and the isolation valve on the CH Return is leaking.

My question is how easy is it to replace the isolation valve on a CDI? looks like a PIG of a job, possibly even boiler off the wall, has anybody replaced one before?

Thanks

easy but dangerous at the same time.

remove/loosen flue turret. undo three bolts at bottom of jig, pull boiler out and wedge it in a position that lets you remove the iso valves. replace them all and all the o-rings. refit the boiler. refill. watch as all the diverter and associated bits leak like **** when you refill.
