First of all, thank you for reading my post.

Now more importantly I want to know if what my Worcester 28CDi is doing is normal.

Now about few times a week I hear the CH pump come on on it's own and run for a few minutes pumping water round the radiators (like the CH pump over run)

The thing is though it does it out of the blue when there is no frost stat wired up, hot water is not being used and internal room stat is not calling for heat (room stat all the way down in summer time).

What is causing this, and is it normal - if so why does it do this from time to time? :?

Any help, much appreciated - thanks. :?:

What makes you think its pumping round the rads, are they getting hot ? your boiler has a hot water preheat facility which brings on the pump and burner for a few minutes but if the rads are warming up you have a problem with your diverter valve.

No the rad do not get hot, but i can hear water flowing around the CH circuit. last night it did it at around 1AM in the morning!
