not sure if diaphragm is leaking in diverter valve, there seems to be
a drip from the diverter valve whenever hot water is drawn from the tap,
soon as the tap is turned off the drip stops, what could be wrong?
as much help appreciated!

It's the stuffing box o ring seal that has gone. Almost impossible to change so it looks like a new diverter valve.
