Hi, all

I have a Worcester 28i combi.

I am having a devil of a job getting hot water intermittently.

It goes to fire up, there's an initial 'whoomph' of the gas lighting and then a 'clicking' from behind the temp knob and it turns off.

It only happens intermittently. I see PCBs for sale - is this my likely problem?

Tks for the quick response.

Whilst waiting I had a good search around this forum (it's good 'ere innit?) and found some advice to turn everything off for 5 mins.

Did that and we're working again now.

I'll keep an eye on it.

Cheers

Bought one new, fitted today, works a treat.

Now I've just got to work out why the pressure's playing up in the central heating.

The dial reads low, so I top it up.

A few days later it needs topping up again!

Then I find the overflow outside is discharging.

Am I simply adding too much water to the system?

Refer to FAQs on repressurising expansion vessel. Try snapping the PRV shut a few times and see if it reseals, otherwise this will need replacing.
