worcester 30 cdi system boiler, unvented cylinder, sealed system.

Fitted just in Summer, along with conversion to unvented tank and sealing of system. Only really used heating over last couple of weeks in any major way. Has worked fine for heating water.

Come home twice now to find boiler off and showing "EA" fault. I see online this is the code usually thrown by a frozen condensate pipe, but obviously not the case at the moment, nor is it blocked. When I reset it it it goes through a cycle and then works normally again.

I'm awaiting the installer, although I suppose he may advise contacting Worcester -but any ideas, is it a commonly known fault?

Mildly disappointed as only fitted a few months ago.

All comments appreciated.

Quite a few other things can cause this including gas supply issues, flue issues etc.,

Installer could have made a couple of errors that are easy to sort out.

Glad I don't fit these ****boxes anymore.

Loads of things can cause EA fault. The installer should check CO/CO2 and other obvious things. Then pass back to worcester.
