Hi Guys

Recently my boiler failed with a faulty gas valve which a Worcester engineer replaced. The boiler is now working but it’s producing alot of steam out of the extractor piping outside the house which is setting off my external light and security camera..it never used to produce this much steam, so is there anything the Worcester engineer could have changed or disrupted to cause this ?

He's probably set your boiler up properly. The visible plume is a sign that the boiler is working in condensing mode and is therefore running efficiently. No plume at this time of year (it's less visible in Summer) would suggest that the boiler is getting far too hot and is running inefficiently
