Once accepted they usually continue to take the money.

If anything serious goes wrong they say the parts are not available and offer a special £250 off THEIR price to fit a new boiler.

I think the Worcester £210 fixed price repair is very good value for money when some parts can be about £200 each anyway. Of course something as simple as a pilot light would be fixed much cheaper by a local registered engineer.

As a consumer the problem here is which one do you call out first, the local engineer or Worcester, they are both going to charge when you dont know what the problem is, either way it could be a big repair or a small one.
