Hi

I have recently move house and we have Worcester boiler and RC Plus control. The boiler is turned up to maximum for radiators, radiators are on full. The control is set to a temperature of 23.5 degrees. The control never reaches the temperature set. Does anyone have any ideas what could be wrong. Thanks

Hello,

Does it have a comfort setting, or is it on timer for a set temperature?

We programme it to come on at different times and at what time temperature we would like. It never reaches the temperature we set the maximum it reaches is 21.5

Is it near any other heat sources, eg cooker, tv, above/near a radiator?

The boiler is in the garage and the RC plus is currently in the living room on a table not near any heat.

This is the control it was set for 23.5 it’s only got to 17.5 this morning

If the rad in the room with the roomstat has a TRV on it. Take the head off the TRV and see if that makes a difference during the next heating schedule. Also make sure the demand period is on for long enough to give the space a chance to heat fully.

The next step is to start looking at radiator sizes and heat loss calcs for the property to make sure you have enough horses under the hood!

First picture above. That's a TRV, unscrew the top part (head) and take it off the rad.
It may be closing the rad down before the room gets to the temp you are looking for.
There should be no TRVs on rads in the room where the roomstat is located/kept.
