Worcester Boiler Timer

I have recently moved into a new house and have just tried the heating out, know i should have done this when we moved in.
i set the time and program to come on at 7pm, time was about 6:45pm. i noticed when heaing did not come on that the time had not changed from 6:45. have tried everything in the book but cant get the clock to keep time.
any ideas anyone?

You haven't left it on the clock set function have you?, if not sounds like a replacement is in order.
