Heating is working fine, but I have no hot water when the tap is turned on full. When I turn on the hot tap a bit, the boiler fires up and I get hot water, but the more I turn on the tap the colder the water gets, the boiler stays on but the water goes cold. If i reduce the flow the water goes hot again. Any ideas?

with the radiators cold, switch on the hot tap. allow the boiler to fire for a few minutes and then feel the ch flow pipe from the boiler. If it's hot from more than about a metre away from the boiler then the problem is more than likely your diverter valve. If it's not then it could be a blocked/fouled dhw heat exchanger or faulty thermister (reducing the gas too early).
