Hi

We have a Worcester Bosch Highflow 400 and the PCB has recently been replaced.

A new problem has developed where the boiler ignores the thermostat and continues to run the central heating irrespective of the stat setting.

E.g. stats says 18deg boiler OFF, boiler heats to 20deg even though the stat hasn't turned the boiler on. The CH light will just stay on.

I feel like a bit of an idiot for asking this but here goes! Should the boiler just not heat the water for CH if the stat doesn't tell it to. Or - does the boiler heat the water initially to get it up to temperature, and if that makes the house hotter than what the stat requests, then so be it. The manual isn't really clear about this.

Thanks in advance for any help.

cheers
