worcester cdi greenstar classic boiler,turning on itself

hi, every 15 mins the combi boiler fires up non its own and runs for about 2 mins everything else is working fine ,this means the radiators are constantly warm,cheers Davie

what exact model do you have?

hi jedi,its a greenstar 29cdi classic,worcester.it seems to be going through a start up cycle,eg heating up to about 46 then venting and dropping to about 30degrees all the time

29CDi Classic is quite a new boiler should still be under warranty.

What controls do you have for invoking heating? Probably an external wiring fault.

problem solved guys ,the divertor valve was stuck in the one position ,i realised when turning on the hot water rads also heated up,the boiler was airlocked stopping the valve operating, thanks for your replies anyway ,cheers
