I am moving house in a few weeks to a property that has one of these boilers, which I think was installed circa 1982.

I am quite surprised that there is no information available about them on the internet, presumably because they are rare and old.

The vendor says it's working fine and is serviced annually but did mention that it locked-out occasionally.

Just wondering if it's regarded as a good or bad boiler and worth replacing sooner rather than later with something like a Grant or Kidd?

IIRC these had a Riello burner, which are good quality with excellent spares back up.
Fear not, oil boilers are arguably more reliable that gas. Just find a good engineer, the one the previous owner used and never run out of oil.
