Worcester Greenstar 24i system - boiler not starting - fan pulsing

Hey folks,

I have a WB Greenstar 24i Mk4 system boiler that won't start. When the controller calls for heat, the pump starts and the fan tries to start. The fan pulses on for a fraction of a second then stops. This cycles for about 2min 15 sec and then the boiler goes into volatile lockout.

This is a replacement fan (used) installed today!

Has anyone come across this problem before? Any suggestions on a fix?

Nothing gas/combustion related will be answered..it's beyond diy and the forum rules. You need to call reg. gas installer.
