Worcester Greenstar 28i junior hot water problem

Hi All,

Hope that someone can help me out with this one!

Everything has been working fine till a week or so ago. When running hot water it gets and runs hot for about 30s to a min then the boiler powers down and water runs cold. Close off the water demand and re-open the hot tap and the same happens again, any ideas?

When was it last serviced?
Could be caused by overheating, muck in the plate heat exchanger, or a dodgy sensor
Does it do the same thing when running the heating?

Thanks Muggles,

I have not have heating on for a few months now, will try that and see what happens.
Is there a thermistor or similar which cuts out the boiler if temp get too high say if heat exchanger is fouled, where is it located?
