Hi

Hope someone can help me here.

It appears we've run out of oil. Came home from work to find the Lock Out light on and the tanks about empty (not totally but doesnt show on sight guage)

Anyway. should be getting an oil delivery in the morning and from reading the manual it seems i need to press the reset button to get the lock out light to go out.

Problem is. Where is the reset button?
ive got the front off and the top but cant see anything obvious!

Obviously wont be doing this until the oils been delivered but would like to get a few pointers so im ready as its flippen well snowing here at the moment and were freezing!!

How old is the boiler? Some of them had reset buttons are remote from the burner. What type of burner is it? There will be a name on it somewhere.

got oil but its still locked out.

found the reset button and pressed it. makes a noise for a bit then locks out again.

says benatone on the part with the reset button if thats any help

boilers about 3 years old

scratch that we seemed to have solved it.

undid the oil line and out came the air :)

thanks for your time
