I have a problem with a 25/32 oil fired combi, the boiler runs for maybe an hour or so then locks out , resets ok then might run for a day or so then locks out again, i have put a new nozzle in and the pump pressure seems fine . all baffles are clear and flue is not blocked. sometimes when the boiler fires up it locks out as well . any suggestions would be helpfull.

fuel pump solenoid and or pump solenoid valve.

I'd be inclined to replace the solenoid coil, on top of the oil pump, if only to rule that out......presumably the filter at the tank is clean?
I would imagine you have a Sterling 40 burner, with a BFP 11 or 41 pump or a suntec.
