Hi

Currently have a Worcester HeatSlave 25/32 oil fired combination boiler in this house.

Recently the temperature of the DHW has started to decrease while having a 15 min shower.

DHW starts off very hot then quickly drops away to a luke warm shower. With say 10 mins the temperature lever has to be moved from the centre point to maximum just to keep the luke warm shower running.

At the time only one shower is running - all other outlets are closed.

The DHW dial on the boiler is in the maximum heat setting.

Any ideas as to what might be the problem ?

Cheers

Possibly divertor valve head, and or body,if its the grey plastic type head valve is spring loaded but sometimes gets stuck at bottom, easy to remove the head and take a look.

Hi

Inside our combination boiler we have a Honeywell diverter valve to provide either DHW and CH.

When the valve motors over to the CH side it makes a very strange noise as if it is really struggling, however it finally gets there whereupon the boiler fires.

When there is a demand for DHW it moves back whereupon it makes a terrible high pitched whine ? When it has finally stopped whining the boiler fires and you get DHW.

I take it that this valve has had it ?

Any help greatly appreciated.
